{"id":11856,"date":"2021-10-08T12:24:43","date_gmt":"2021-10-08T16:24:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/live-clarivate-innovative.pantheonsite.io\/?post_type=blog&#038;p=11856"},"modified":"2021-10-08T12:25:35","modified_gmt":"2021-10-08T16:25:35","slug":"sierra-and-polaris-idea-lab-winners-the-meta-challenge-2021","status":"publish","type":"blog","link":"https:\/\/www.iii.com\/whats-new\/sierra-and-polaris-idea-lab-winners-the-meta-challenge-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Sierra and Polaris Idea Lab Winners &#8211; The Meta-Challenge 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Innovative Users!<\/p>\n<p>Pairwise voting has concluded for the Meta-Challenge, and we have our winners!<\/p>\n<p>Designed to help focus future challenges on the areas of the product most important to Polaris and Sierra libraries, this challenge included a combined total of 29 ideas and 208 pairs for voting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Winners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Submissions:<\/strong>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/idealab.iii.com\/sierra-meta-challeng\/Page\/ViewIdea?ideaid=22144\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sierra System Administration Functions<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/idealab.iii.com\/meta-challengechalle\/Page\/ViewIdea?ideaid=22140\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Polaris System Administration<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspired by:<\/strong> Ideas submitted by Tracy Babiasz and Gabrielle Gosselin<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This idea will be the focus of our next challenge in Q4 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Innovative and the Idea Lab Committee are keeping a list of the other ideas submitted in the Meta-Challenge and will consider these themes when planning future challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLibrary staff submitted many great ideas as themes for future challenges,\u201d said Mike Dicus, Sierra Product Manager. \u201cSystem administration became a top focus area pretty quickly, but it is clear that our libraries have several functional and non-functional topics they would like us to use to collect enhancement ideas in future challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Remember, submissions live on in Idea Lab and our\u00a0Always Open Space\u00a0never closes.
