Innovative, part of Clarivate, today announced the launch of the Library Experience (LX) Starter suite for early access partners. After the early access phase is complete, this ultramodern solution for patron notices will be offered to all current Polaris and Sierra customers in late Q3.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Current approaches to circulation notices tend to rely on third-party vendors, costing libraries both time and money. The LX Starter email communication suite provides library staff with an intuitive, web-based interface that empowers them to design and send automated circulation notices. The tool includes a visual email editor with the ability to add custom branding, free stock photos, and cover images for items in the collection. Libraries can schedule the notices for certain hours then check the engagement metrics to view the number of emails delivered, opened, and clicked on.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCustomers should know that this launch is a crucial demonstration of the connected development between Polaris, Sierra, the Vega Library Experience (LX) platform, and the entirety of our product portfolio,\u201d said Yariv Kursh, General Manager of Innovative. \u201cThese enhancements for Polaris and Sierra were only possible because of our Vega LX development team. The continuity between our products provides us with a unique opportunity to deliver improvements and new functionality directly to libraries and patrons through our cloud-based ecosystem.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of Innovative\u2019s continued commitment to improving functionality and increasing value for our customers, LX Starter will be made available for all Sierra and Polaris customers and will be delivered as part of the ILS version upgrade in Q3.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Innovative is hosting a webinar for existing customers on July 14 to share more about LX Starter. Existing Polaris and Sierra customers should contact Innovative for more details. Future customer communications will include information on how to request, implement, and utilize the LX Starter suite.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
