{"id":13185,"date":"2022-08-19T11:51:57","date_gmt":"2022-08-19T15:51:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/live-clarivate-innovative.pantheonsite.io\/?post_type=blog&#038;p=13185"},"modified":"2022-08-19T11:51:57","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T15:51:57","slug":"congrats-to-sierra-winners-in-the-all-together-now-idea-lab-challenge","status":"publish","type":"blog","link":"https:\/\/www.iii.com\/whats-new\/congrats-to-sierra-winners-in-the-all-together-now-idea-lab-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"Congrats to Sierra Winners in the \u201cAll Together Now\u201d Idea Lab Challenge!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Innovative, part of Clarivate, is happy to announce the Sierra Idea Lab winners for the \u201cAll Together Now\u201d challenge!<\/p>\n<p>Pairwise voting has concluded for the Sierra challenge, and we have our winners!<\/p>\n<p>Focused on enhancements to batch update records in Sierra, library users submitted 13 ideas for this challenge and had 21 pairs of ideas for voting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Winners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission:<\/strong>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/idealab.iii.com\/sierraalltogethernow\/Page\/ViewIdea?ideaid=25233\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Add record to list feature<\/a> \u2014 Adding the ability to add any record to a review file from any open record in Sierra.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspired by:<\/strong> Idea submitted by Jeremy Goldstein<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission:<\/strong>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/idealab.iii.com\/sierraalltogethernow\/Page\/ViewIdea?ideaid=25369\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Have system-generated Review Files appear in the dropdown list in Global\/Rapid Update<\/a> \u2014 While working with Global Update\/Rapid Update, system-generated review files will appear in the Review File dropdown list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspired by:<\/strong> Idea submitted by Pam Skittino<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission:<\/strong>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/idealab.iii.com\/sierraalltogethernow\/Page\/ViewIdea?ideaid=25157\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Create Lists to Global Update button<\/a> &#8211; When working with a review file, add a button that will take the user directly to Global Update to work on the same review file.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proposed For:<\/strong> H2 2023 \u2013 H1 2024 (TBD)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSierra customers submitted several great ideas for improving the functionality to batch update records,\u201d said Mike Dicus, Sierra Product Manager. \u201cI\u2019m delighted that we will be able to implement multiple ideas from this challenge to improve Sierra workflows and give library staff a better user experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Remember, submissions live on in Idea Lab and our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/idealab.iii.com\/alwaysopen\/Page\/Overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Always Open Space<\/a>\u00a0never closes.
