Innovative, part of Clarivate, is proud to announce that Henderson County Public Library in Kentucky has selected Vega Discover as their new discovery tool.<\/p>\n

Henderson County Public Library (HCPL) has been serving Henderson County since its doors first opened in 1904. While the library has stayed at the same location with a building that includes restored stained-glass windows and murals within its cupola, its reach is larger thanks to additions that include meeting rooms with views of the Ohio River and a makerspace with 3D, poster, and vinyl printers, a sound booth and more\u2014as well as a mobile library that makes regular stops at community centers and residential areas. HCPL also offers activities that range from pickleball lessons to personally curated book boxes to passport services and tech help sessions.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaking our resources easily accessible to our community is important for the library, and Vega Discover is the next logical step in that effort,\u201d says Shannon Sandefur, Library Director.<\/p>\n

Vega Discover is a full-featured discovery tool that delivers premier search results, a patron bookshelf with custom reading lists, patron account management, library-curated and automated showcases, and smart showcases on resources and topics related to a given item or search result.<\/p>\n

Vega Discover<\/a>\u00a0is the responsive and\u00a0accessible<\/a>\u00a0discovery module of the Vega Library Experience (LX) suite of patron engagement tools. Vega LX is a cloud-based platform that allows library staff to easily communicate and manage a full range of materials, programs, and services.<\/p>\n
