Boost community awareness of summer reading programs by promoting them across multiple channels:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Discovery<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Use your catalog homepage to highlight summer reading lists and displays. The recently released Vega Discover<\/strong> homepage editor<\/a> lets you drag-and-drop showcases of related titles, saved searches, and featured authors on your homepage to increase engagement with the content.<\/p>\n

Check out some of the ways the Miami-Dade Public Library System<\/a> in Florida and the Public Libraries in Jefferson County<\/a>, Alabama are promoting their summer reading picks within the Vega Discover interface:<\/p>\n

When you click a showcase on the Discover homepage, it links to a custom URL featuring the list of showcased books titles. You can copy the URL to share the showcase directly on social media or elsewhere. Patrons and staff can also create list links by clicking the \u201cshare\u201d icon () on the Bookmarks tab in \u201cMy Bookshelf.\u201d<\/p>\n

Email Communications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

In your regular email newsletter and other library marketing emails, you can use Vega Promote<\/strong><\/a> to feature your summer reading lists\u2014and easily insert any Discover showcase into the email.<\/p>\n
