Innovative, part of Clarivate, is pleased to announce that the North Vancouver District Public Library in North Vancouver, Canada has selected Polaris as their new ILS, Vega Discover as their new discovery layer, Vega Program for event and room management, Vega Promote for email marketing, and Vega Promote Web to build their online presence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

North Vancouver District Public Library (NVDPL) serves a community of approximately 88,000 residents with three full-service locations as well as a boutique grab-and-go express library inside a community recreation centre. NVDPL offers a wide array of materials, events, and services to its 43K members and is one of the most well-used libraries in British Columbia. With a focus on accessibility, inclusivity, and innovation, NVDPL remains dedicated to providing residents with the resources and support they need to thrive. There is something for everyone at NVDPL, including its digital creation and storytelling centre StoryLab, radon and carbon dioxide monitoring kits, puzzles, board games, books, movies, digital content, and more.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Polaris<\/span><\/a> provides an intuitive web interface that brings the full power and functionality of the ILS to the web browser. Polaris can be used on a computer or tablet, freeing staff to connect with patrons and complete tasks wherever it is most convenient\u2014even outside the library walls.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Vega Library Experience (LX) suite offers libraries a unified solution for building ongoing relationships with their community and communicating with users across multiple channels, all while keeping patron data, communication history, and analytics in one place for library staff.
