Innovative, part of Clarivate\u2122, is excited to announce that the Roseville Public Library in Michigan has launched Vega Program as their new event management and room booking solution.<\/p>\n

The Roseville Public Library first opened in 1936 as the Erin Township Library within the municipal building in the Village of Roseville. The library is now part of the Civic Center Plaza next to City Hall in Roseville, and serves their approximate 15,000 users in Roseville, Macomb County and parts of Wayne and Oakland Counties with an annual circulation of ~102,000. Roseville Public Library\u2019s events include opportunities for new readers to read to a therapy dog, crafting for all ages, book clubs, holiday events, card gaming, and historical lectures.<\/p>\n

“In our mission to serve as a cultural center of our community, we needed a tool that would make it easy for us to manage our programs and easy for our community to find our programs. Now that we\u2019re using Vega Program, I can say that it is easy to add events, and I like that we can add statistics after the events have finished.\u00a0I also like that we can feature some of the events at the top of the public calendar,” says Sarah Marsack, Systems Librarian at Roseville Public Library.<\/p>\n

Vega Program<\/a>\u202fis designed to give libraries full control of their event management and attendee communications, all with a sleek, modern interface for both library staff and patrons. While Vega Program works great with the Sierra and Polaris integrated library systems (ILSs), you can use Vega Program with any ILS.<\/p>\n
