Innovative, part of Clarivate\u2122, is pleased to share that the Rochester Hills Public Library in Michigan has adopted the Vega Promote email automation tool.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rochester Hills Public Library (RHPL<\/a>) empowers people to explore and create with resources that enlighten, educate, entertain, and inform. Serving the communities of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township since 1924, RHPL provides lifelong learning opportunities, instills a love of reading, and offers equal access to information to over 110,000 patrons. The library serves as a community center where visitors enjoy innovative ways to learn and socialize through a variety of programs, including an annual summer reading challenge, parent-child workshops, concerts, and weekly lectures. Its expansive and user-friendly collections allow cardholders to use physical materials, eBooks, tools and technology, database subscriptions, movie and music downloads, language and genealogy services, business and investment reports, and national news sources at no cost.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cVega Promote is the tool we needed to revolutionize our patron engagement. Using Promote, we can keep in touch with patrons via multi-faceted messaging, and its analytics help us adjust course to maximize our connection\u2014and Promote lets us do all this with an easy-to-navigate interface,\u201d says Derek Brown, Information Technology Director for RHPL.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Michele Dimond, Creative Marketing Coordinator for RHPL, gave a presentation at the Innovative Users Group (IUG) 2024 annual conference entitled, \u201cRevolutionizing Patron Engagement: Exploring Vega Promote at the Rochester Hills Public Library.\u201d The presentation materials are available to Innovative Users Group members through the <\/span>IUG website<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vega Promote is the marketing automation module of the\u202f<\/span>Vega Library Experience<\/span><\/a>\u202f(LX) suite, a cloud-based platform, that allows library staff to easily communicate and manage a full range of materials, programs, and services. Vega Promote keeps community members and patrons informed through targeted and relevant communications, keeping promotion tied tightly to other library solutions and thus eliminating the need for libraries to use a patchwork approach to digital marketing and communications\u2014empowering libraries to communicate what they want, when they want, to whom they want.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
