The Michigan library system launched Polaris in August 2024<\/p>\n

Innovative, part of Clarivate, is pleased to share that the Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) has completed a successful six months of using the Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS) to manage library operations.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1868, the Ypsilanti District Library has a long history of serving the greater Ypsilanti area through discovery, education, and partnerships. Today, with three branches, a bookmobile, and an extensive collection of items to read, listen to, watch, cook with, play games with, garden with and more, YPL remains dedicated to its mission of building a thriving, highly-connected community supported by innovative resources and exciting learning opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/strong>Polaris has unquestionably streamlined our daily operations,\u201d said Julianne Smith, Assistant Director of Ypsilanti District Library. \u201cThe software is intuitive and has greatly improved our workflow efficiency, allowing us to focus more on serving our community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Polaris<\/a> provides an intuitive web interface that brings the full power and functionality of the integrated library system (ILS) to the web browser.
